Hammond 1411FBRBK 8×6×3.5 in Black Flanged Aluminum Utility Case

The 1411FBRBK is a flanged utility case from the 1411 aluminum series, finished in smooth black powder coat (Hammond color BK2). Its bottom carries wall-mounting flanges, so it suits integrators, OEM engineers and facilities teams who need a compact metal housing that fastens directly to a wall or panel. The nominal size is 8 x 6 x 3.5 in (203 x 152 x 89 mm).

Construction is two pieces: a flanged bottom and a cover, both made from 0.04" (1.02 mm) aluminum panels. Each purchased assembly includes the flanged bottom, the cover and four self-tapping cover screws. Replacement cover screws are available as 1421J6, a package of six 6-32 x 1/4" plated self-tapping screws, and 1421J6BK supplies the same screws in black.

According to the drawing, the assembled box measures 202.84 mm [7.99 in] long, 152.04 mm [5.99 in] wide and 90.50 mm [3.56 in] high, with an overall length of 231.78 mm [9.13 in] across the flanges. Usable inside space is 200.81 mm [7.91 in] long by 147.19 mm [5.80 in] wide by 88.47 mm [3.48 in] high. Shipping weight is 0.75 lbs (0.34 kg).

The black powder coat gives a finished look straight out of the box. If you need cut-outs or markings, the enclosure can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing), and solid models are available in STEP or IGES for layout work.
