The 1182S24 is a 500 VA toroidal transformer with two 24 V secondaries rated 10.42 A each. Series connection gives 48V C.T. @ 10.42A; parallel connection gives 24V @ 20.82A. It is a fit for 24 V or 48 V center-tapped supplies that must accept 117 VAC or 234 VAC input.
Primary leads are #18 TEW and secondary leads #12 TEW, 8"-9" long and stripped 0.5" minimum; secondaries are coded RED-BLU and GRY-YEL. Regulation is 5.10% per the series table (dimension reference I). The open-center unit ships with two 0.093" x 4.75" OD rubber washers, one 16GA x 4.30" OD steel mounting washer and a 1/4-20 bolt 3.00" long with lock washer and hex nut. Shipping weight is 7.75 lbs (3.52 kg).
On compliance, the 1182 family carries UL recognition to UL 5085-1 and UL 5085-2 under file #E207860 and CSA certification to C22.2 #66.1-6 and #66.2-6 under file #209651, and is self-declared as evaluated to applicable sections of IEC/EN61558-1 and IEC/EN61558-2-4.
