Hammond VCT49 28U 49-Inch Vertical Cable Tray for Cabinets

The VCT49 is a 28U vertical cable tray that gives IT, network and telecom installers an open vertical pathway for routing and supporting cable bundles inside server cabinets. It measures 49.00 in (1245 mm) high, 3.00 in (76 mm) wide and 0.50 in (13 mm) deep, with a 49.00 in (1245 mm) mounting height, and is listed as compatible with Hammond C2 and REFK cabinet platforms.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with folded (flanged) edges that add structural strength and make cable handling and organization easier. The tray is finished in a black textured powder coat, and the finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant for environmental and durability requirements.

Cutouts along the tray accept cable ties or hook and loop straps, so bundles can be tied down for strain relief without restricting routing paths. Drawing call-outs for the VCT49 include 2.00 in x 2.00 in (51 mm x 51 mm) square cutouts, 0.38 in x 0.38 in (10 mm x 10 mm) cutouts, and 0.28 in x 2.00 in (7 mm x 51 mm) obround slots. Unlike the VCTPDU models in the series, the VCT49 does not include toolless PDU mounting cutouts.

Mounting hardware is included for fast installation. The VCT49 is TAA compliant and manufactured in North America (country of origin CA), is USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant, and ships at 10 lbs (4.54 kg). Accessories offered with the series include pre-cut 96 inch hook and loop cable straps and a rack rail mounting hardware kit.
