Hammond UHDM8424BPA 84x24 Flat Barrier Plate for Modular Enclosures

The UHDM8424BPA is a flat barrier plate for the UHDM Type 12 mild steel modular freestanding disconnect enclosure system. It may be used to provide a barrier between modular enclosures in a line-up, separating adjacent sections that would otherwise share an open side. It suits panel builders and electrical contractors who need to divide a multi-section system.

The plate is formed from 14 gauge steel and measures 83.87 in high by 23.87 in wide (2130 x 606 mm), the 84 x 24 size. It comes in steel with a gray finish and is supplied complete with a gasket and mounting hardware, so no separate gasket kit is needed.

The UHDM accessory table offers barrier plates in 72 x 18, 84 x 18 and 84 x 24 sizes; this 84 x 24 plate corresponds to the 83.87 in height and 23.87 in width of the list, suiting line-ups built from the 84 in tall, 24 in deep enclosures. The enclosures it separates are Type 12 mild steel units in ANSI 61 gray.

In the UHDM system, main enclosures are open on the left side and secondary enclosures are open on both sides, so modules bolt together into a continuous line-up. A barrier plate lets you keep that mechanical line-up while dividing the interior between modules.
