Hammond ST30308LG 30x30x8 in Sloped-Top Type 4 Wallmount Enclosure

The ST30308LG is a 30x30x8 in (762 mm x 762 mm x 203 mm) Type 4 mild steel wallmount enclosure with a sloped top, part of the Eclipse-styled ST Series. It is built to enclose electrical and/or electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments, which suits control panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers working on wall-mounted installations. Its sloped top prevents water from resting on top of the enclosure and offers potential for controls mounting.

The body is formed from 14 gauge steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip on the enclosure helps exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in place gasket seals the hinged door, which closes with Latch Type A: slotted quarter turns. Hidden hinges are finished in mild steel, with stainless steel hinge pins and quarter turns. The cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coating.

The ordering table lists H1 at 30.00 in (762 mm) and H2 at 32.90 in (836 mm), with a width of 30.00 in (762 mm) and a depth of 8.00 in (203 mm). The drawing shows a 28.49 in door opening width and a 29.97 in wide door. Collar studs are provided for the optional inner panel EP3030 (28.20 in (716 mm) x 28.20 in (716 mm)). Shipping weight is 75 lbs (34.02 kg), packed in a box.

An included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes, and a bonding stud on the door plus a grounding stud in the enclosure support equipment grounding. The ST30308LG carries UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12 ratings (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA 3R, 4 and 12 and IEC 60529 IP66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Because this enclosure is wider than 24 in, an inner panel is also required to maintain UL/CSA. It is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant.
