Hammond RZ0313GASKET 2-Pack Lid Gasket for 171x121x55 mm Enclosures

The RZ0313GASKET is a two-pack of replacement lid gaskets for RZ Series water-tight enclosures, listed by the manufacturer as the "RZ0313 / RZ0214 GASKET- 2PK". It is intended for maintenance technicians, OEM builders and field service teams who need to restore the seal on an existing RZ enclosure or keep spares on hand.

According to the RZ Series ordering table, this gasket is the replacement for all four styles of the 171 x 121 x 55 mm enclosure: RZ0214 (gray polycarbonate), RZ0214C (gray polycarbonate with clear lid), RZ0313 (beige ABS) and RZ0313C (beige ABS with clear lid). It serves the 171 x 121 x 55 mm enclosures, the shallower of the two 171 x 121 mm sizes.

The gasket measures 6.57 in x 4.6 in x 0.1 in (167 mm x 117 mm x 3 mm). In the RZ design the lid is gasketed and uses a two-piece tongue and groove construction that protects against the entry of oil, dust and water, and the series is designed to meet IP65. Because the wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket perimeter, the seal line is not crossed by the mounting hardware.

The RZ0313GASKET is RoHS and REACH compliant. When servicing the enclosure, note the series chemical resistance statement: avoid acetone, ketones, strong solvents and incompatible greases or oils on the plastic, and use only cleaners listed as plastic safe.
