The RSKS19005BK1 is a 3U rotating slide-out base for standard 19" rack mounting, designed for IT, AV and control-room installations where an operator needs a full-size keyboard or other equipment (not included) housed inside the rack. Once the drawer is pulled out beyond the front of the rack, the top tray swivels clockwise 90 degrees, giving comfortable access from the side of the cabinet or rack.
Construction is mild steel finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat, a finish that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The unit occupies 3U with a mounting height of 5.25 in (133 mm) and a mounting depth of 15.00 in (381 mm). Per the drawing, the rotating shelf measures 18.12 in (460 mm) and the shelf base 17.00 in (432 mm), with an overall front-view width of 18.90 in (480 mm) and a mounting width of 18.37 in (467 mm).
RSKS19005BK1 is supplied as shown, complete with two 18" full-travel slides, four slide mounting brackets, eight plug/guides and mounting hardware; some assembly is required. It mounts to the front and rear panel rails of a rack and accommodates front-rail to rear-rail spacing from 19.8" up to a maximum of 34.8" deep. It will not work in 17" deep racks, as the slides are too deep.
The assembly is load rated to 129 lbs (59 kg), and the slides are tested to BIFMA Standards with load capacity at 12 times per minute for a minimum of 55,000 cycles. An optional front locking door (RSKS19DOORBK1) adds security where required.

Note that the product line will be discontinued on January 15, 2027, after which it is available only while supplies last, with no returns possible after that date; the suggested replacement is the RAKS Series.
