Hammond RP124GASKET Replacement Lid Gasket 2-Pack, 165 x 125 mm Boxes

The RP124GASKET is a two-pack of replacement lid gaskets for the 165 x 125 mm (6.50 x 4.92 in) RP Series enclosures. The short description, RP123/RP124 GASKET- 2PK, identifies the two enclosure families that use it. It is a service spare for controllers, instruments and junction boxes built in this mid-size housing.

The series ordering table lists RP124GASKET in the Replacement Gasket (2-pk) column for the following bottom flange enclosures:

• RP1235BF / RP1235BFC (light gray ABS) and RP1230BF / RP1230BFC (off-white polycarbonate) - 165 mm x 125 mm x 55 mm
• RP1245BF / RP1245BFC (light gray ABS) and RP1240BF / RP1240BFC (off-white polycarbonate) - 165 mm x 125 mm x 75 mm

In the RP Series the lid uses two piece "tongue & groove" construction with a rubber gasket that protects against access of oil, dust and water; the enclosures are designed to meet IP65. The gasket is supplied with each enclosure and must be field installed. The 55 mm and 75 mm tall versions of this footprint share the gasket, so one part number covers eight bottom flange enclosures in ABS and polycarbonate, opaque or clear lid.

The RP124GASKET is RoHS and REACH compliant, with UPC 623980524115 and UNSPSC 39121301. The inner panels listed for the same enclosures are STC124 (plastic) and STA124 (aluminum), and extra lid screws (SC619-50, M3.5-0.6 x 10mm) and PC board screws (SC622-50, M3 x 6mm) are sold in 50-packs.
