Hammond RP1150BFC 125x85x85mm Polycarbonate Clear-Lid Enclosure, Flanged

The RP1150BFC is a water-tight polycarbonate enclosure with a clear lid and an integral bottom mounting flange, measuring 4.92 in x 3.35 in x 3.35 in (125 mm x 85 mm x 85 mm). It is the tallest 125 x 85 mm body in this flanged group at 85 mm, with 78.50 mm of inside height for bulkier components. Designed to meet IP65, it suits OEM engineers, panel builders and electronics integrators who need to house printed circuit boards or components and bolt the box directly to a wall, panel or machine surface.

The body is polycarbonate with a UL94 V-2 flame rating, and the clear lid lets indicators, displays or internal status be viewed without removing it. A two-piece tongue and groove lid with a rubber gasket protects against access of oil, dust and water; the gasket is included and must be field installed. The part page lists the colour as Light Gray, while the series ordering table places this part under Off-White Polycarbonate.

According to the drawing, the flanged body is 155.95 mm [6.14 in] long overall, with flange mounting holes of 5.20 mm [0.20 in] diameter on 142.00 mm [5.59 in] centres. Inside, the RP1150BFC offers 118.71 mm [4.67 in] x 78.71 mm [3.10 in] of floor space and 78.50 mm [3.09 in] of inside height, and accepts a printed circuit board up to 117 mm x 77 mm. Board mounting posts accept M3 self-tapping screws.

The lid is secured with self-captivating M3.5 stainless steel machine screws, included, threaded into corrosion resistant bushings for repetitive assembly and disassembly. Hardware includes lid screws, PC board screws and the gasket. Optional inner panels are STC113 (plastic) and STA113 (aluminum), a replacement gasket 2-pack is RP113GASKET, and extra screws are available as SC619-50 (M3.5-0.6 x 10 mm lid screws) and SC622-50 (M3 x 6 mm PC board screws).
