Hammond RP1145BFC 125x85x70mm ABS Clear-Lid Watertight Box, Bottom Flange

The RP1145BFC is a water-tight ABS plastic enclosure with a clear lid and an integral bottom mounting flange, measuring 4.92 in x 3.35 in x 2.76 in (125 mm x 85 mm x 70 mm). It is a 70 mm-tall 125 x 85 mm body with 63.50 mm of inside height, leaving more room above the board in the same footprint. Designed to meet IP65, it suits OEM engineers, panel builders and electronics integrators who need to house printed circuit boards or components and bolt the box directly to a wall, panel or machine surface.

The body is general purpose ABS plastic with a UL94 HB flame rating, paired with a clear lid so indicators, displays or internal status can be seen without opening the box. The part page lists the colour as Light Gray. A two-piece tongue and groove lid with a rubber gasket protects against access of oil, dust and water; the gasket is included and must be field installed.

According to the drawing, the flanged body is 155.95 mm [6.14 in] long overall, with flange mounting holes of 5.20 mm [0.20 in] diameter on 142.00 mm [5.59 in] centres. Inside, the RP1145BFC offers 119.23 mm [4.69 in] x 79.23 mm [3.12 in] of floor space and 63.50 mm [2.50 in] of inside height, and accepts a printed circuit board up to 117 mm x 77 mm. Board mounting posts accept M3 self-tapping screws.

The lid is secured with self-captivating M3.5 stainless steel machine screws, included, threaded into corrosion resistant bushings for repetitive assembly and disassembly. Hardware includes lid screws, PC board screws and the gasket. Optional inner panels are STC113 (plastic) and STA113 (aluminum), a replacement gasket 2-pack is RP113GASKET, and extra screws are available as SC619-50 (M3.5-0.6 x 10 mm lid screws) and SC622-50 (M3 x 6 mm PC board screws).
