Hammond RP1045BF 95x50x50mm IP65 Abs Watertight Enclosure, Bottom Flange

The RP1045BF is a water-tight general-purpose ABS enclosure with an integral bottom flange and a opaque lid, measuring 95 x 50 x 50 mm (3.74 in x 1.97 in x 1.97 in). It suits electronics builders, OEM engineers and electricians who want a general-purpose gasketed housing for printed circuit boards or components, fixed down through its flange. The opaque lid includes a smooth recessed area for a membrane, label or silkscreen.

It is moulded in light gray ABS plastic with a flame rating of UL94 HB; the series also offers polycarbonate (UL94-V2) versions of the same size. A two-piece tongue-and-groove lid with a rubber gasket (included, field installed) guards against oil, dust and water, and the design is rated IP65. Self-captivating M3.5 stainless steel lid screws (included) thread into corrosion-resistant bushings for repeated assembly and disassembly.

The drawing gives inside dimensions of 87.70 mm [3.45 in] long, 42.70 mm [1.68 in] wide and 44.50 mm [1.75 in] high, and 119.95 mm [4.72 in] overall length across the flange, which carries 4.20 mm [0.17 in] mounting holes. The part page lists a maximum PC board size of 87 x 41.5 mm, and the internal board posts accept M3 self-tapping screws. This size is the narrowest width (50 mm) in the series ordering table, a long, slim footprint offered in 40 mm and 50 mm heights.
