Hammond RP1015 Light Gray ABS 66x61x28 mm IP65 Enclosure

The RP1015 is the light gray ABS, opaque-lid model in the smallest RP Series size: a 66 x 61 x 28 mm water-tight enclosure for small printed circuit boards and components. It is a general purpose choice for OEMs, integrators and hobbyists sealing compact electronics.

The RP1015 is molded in general purpose ABS with a UL94 HB flame rating. The gasketed lid uses two-piece tongue and groove construction to protect against the access of oil, dust and water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP 65. The rubber gasket is included and must be field installed. The lid includes a smooth recessed area for a membrane, label or silkscreen.

The series table lists this size at 2.60 in (66 mm) long x 2.40 in (61 mm) wide x 1.10 in (28 mm) deep; the drawing gives 65.50 mm [2.58 in] x 60.50 mm [2.38 in] x 28.00 mm [1.10 in] overall and inside dimensions of 59.58 mm [2.35 in] L x 54.58 mm [2.15 in] W x 23.00 mm [.91 in] H. It accepts a P.C. board up to 56 x 51 mm, with internal mounting posts that accept M3 self-tapping screws.

Each assembly includes the box, lid, string gasket, 4 P.C. board screws and 4 lid screws. The lid is secured with self-captivating M3.5 stainless steel machine screws threaded into corrosion resistant bushings for repeated assembly and disassembly; recommended torque is (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m. Accessories for this size are the STC102 ABS inner panel (3 mm thick), the STA102 metal inner panel (1 mm thick) and the RP102GASKET replacement gasket 2-pack, plus SC619-50 lid screws and SC622-50 P.C. board screws.

The RP1015 is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships in a bag at 0.11 lbs (0.05 kg). It can be wall or panel mounted with the MF0040, MF0045, MF0060, MF0061 or MF0300 mounting feet kits, and the enclosure can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing).
