The RMHD19003BK is the heavy-duty member of the RMAD Series adjustable rack mount DIN rail kits, designed to install DIN rail-mounted equipment in standard 19-inch rack systems. It is aimed at integrators, control engineers and facilities teams who need to place power supplies, relays, terminal blocks and automation devices inside an IT or telecom rack rather than a separate industrial enclosure.
The kit mounts directly to standard EIA-310 19 in rack rails, converting rack space into DIN rail mounting, and includes a 0.3 in thick top-hat DIN rail (DIN 3 profile, standard 35 mm) so equipment can be clipped on immediately. It occupies 2U of rack space, with a mounting height of 3.50 in (89 mm) and a mounting depth of 9.25 in (235 mm). The DIN rail itself measures 16.88 in (429 mm) wide, and the drawing shows an overall top-view width of 17.18 in (436 mm) across a 19.00 in (483 mm) rack opening.
Depth positioning is adjustable: the rail travels from flush at the front to 8.00 in (203 mm) deep, so DIN devices of different sizes can be set back behind the rack face. As the heavy-duty version, RMHD19003BK is constructed of 14-gauge mild steel and carries a 100 lbs (45 kg) load rating. The finish is black powder coat (GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant).
