Hammond RMCV191015BK1 6U Vented Aluminum Instrument Enclosure, 15" Deep

The RMCV191015BK1 is the 15 in deep version of the 6U vented RMC instrument enclosure. At 17.00 in wide, 15.00 in deep and 10.48 in high (432 x 381 x 266 mm), it gives OEM engineers and integrators extra front-to-back room for electronics that mount in a 19 in rack or sit on a desk.

The body is lightweight 5052 H32 aluminum, assembled with machine screws and PEM nuts so it can be opened and closed repeatedly without wearing out threads. Panel thicknesses are 0.125 in (3.2 mm) for the side panels and rack mount brackets, 0.064 in (1.6 mm) for front and rear panels and 0.062 in (1.6 mm) for top and bottom panels. The satin textured black powder coat means panels are not grounded to the frame; plan your own grounding method.

Usable mounting height is 10.50 in (267 mm), and inside height clearance with the optional chassis installed is 9.56 in (243 mm). The drawing shows an inside width of 16.75 in (425.45 mm), an inside length of 14.83 in (376.72 mm) and 19.00 in (482.60 mm) across the mounting tabs.
