The RMAD19003BK is a 2U rack mount DIN rail kit that converts standard 19-inch rack space into a DIN rail mounting position. It mounts directly to EIA-310 19 in rack rails, making it a practical way for IT, telecom, industrial control and facilities teams to place DIN rail devices such as power supplies, relays and automation components inside an equipment rack.
Construction is mild steel in 14 and 16 gauge, finished in a black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The kit includes a standard 35 mm top-hat DIN rail (DIN 3 profile) 0.30 in (8 mm) thick and 17.18 in (436 mm) wide, so equipment can be clipped on immediately. Rear and side cutouts — ten 0.75 in x 3.00 in openings — provide cable pass-through and wire management.
Mounting dimensions are 3.50 in (89 mm) high by 11.25 in (286 mm) deep, occupying 2U of rack height, with an overall panel width of 19.00 in (483 mm). The DIN rail position is adjustable with depth travel from flush at the front to 8.38 in deep, allowing the rail to be set behind other rack-mounted gear. The RMAD19003BK carries a 26 lbs (11 kg) load rating; the heavy-duty RMHD version of the series is rated up to 100 lb.
