Hammond RM5U18BRKT 5U Adjustable-Depth Rear Rack Bracket Kit

The RM5U18BRKT is an adjustable-depth rear bracket kit for mounting 5U RM series aluminum instrument enclosures in 4-post racks. Hammond's short description is "REAR BRKT KIT FOR 5U 18" DEEP", and in the RM ordering table it appears as the Adjustable-Depth Rear (Pair) of Rack Ears for 4-Post Mounting for 5U chassis height, with a maximum depth added to the chassis of 16.00 in (406 mm). It is aimed at integrators installing deeper 5U enclosures, where supporting only the front ears is not enough.

The ordering table lists the RM5U18BRKT as the adjustable depth mounting bracket, sold in pairs, for the 18, 22 and 28 in deep 5U enclosures: RM5U1918SBK/VBK, RM5U1922SBK/VBK and RM5U1928SBK/VBK. It is compatible with the full 16.60 in width versions only.
