The Hammond RM4U22BKSP is a replacement side panel for 4U RM Series rack-mount aluminum instrument enclosures, 22 in (559 mm) deep and sold individually. It is intended for OEM builders, repair technicians and integrators who need to replace a damaged panel, re-work a chassis or keep spare parts on hand.
At 22 in long it matches the 22 in deep 4U RM enclosures; the drawing shows six 4.20 mm [0.165 in] holes on both sides plus six 4.78 mm [0.188 in] holes.
RM Series side panels are extruded aluminum 0.125" (3.2 mm) thick, and this panel is black to match the series' textured black powder coat. The RM4U22BKSP drawing shows a 177.04 mm [6.970 in] profile height, 4 X 10-32 UNF-2B tapped holes, and four 4.00 mm [0.157 in] through holes countersunk 7.50 mm [0.295 in] x 82 degrees.
