Hammond RM0804BKVP 8.30 x 4.25 in Vented Top/Bottom Panel, Black

The RM0804BKVP is a vented replacement top or bottom body panel for the RM series rack-mount aluminum instrument enclosure, sold individually. Its nominal panel size is 8.30 in (211 mm) wide by 4.25 in (108 mm) deep, the half-width footprint listed in the RM ordering table for the RM1U0804VBK, RM2U0804VBK and RM3U0804VBK enclosures. It is intended for OEM builders, maintenance teams and integrators who need to replace a damaged panel, keep a spare for machining, or change an enclosure between solid and vented tops.

It is the vented counterpart of RM0804BKSP; the drawing shows 72 vent holes of Ø0.170 in arranged in 3 rows by 22 columns on 0.313 in x 0.313 in spacing, a way to add airflow to a compact half-width, 4.25 in deep chassis.
