Hammond RL6205-F 125x80x25mm Flanged Light Gray ABS Project Enclosure

The RL6205-F is a low-profile 125 x 80 mm flanged ABS plastic project enclosure from the RL Series of shallow-lid boxes, designed to house P.C. boards for hand-held use or wall mount. It suits OEM engineers, electronics builders and integrators who need a wall-mountable light gray housing for a small circuit board assembly. At a nominal 25 mm it is the lowest-profile enclosure in the RL series table, and the shortest of the three heights (25, 35 and 50 mm) built on the 125 mm x 80 mm footprint.

The enclosure is molded in light grey general purpose ABS plastic with a light texture and uses two-part construction. Both the box and the shallow lid carry a smooth recessed area for a membrane, label or silkscreen, and P.C. board standoffs are molded into both halves.

Nominal size is 4.92 in x 3.15 in x 0.98 in (125 mm x 80 mm x 25 mm). It accepts a maximum P.C. board of 119.31 mm x 74.31 mm per the series ordering table (119.3 mm x 74.7 mm on the part page). It is the version with wall mounting flanges. Shipping weight is 0.22 lbs (0.10 kg).

The enclosure includes lid screws and PCB screws. The RL6205-F is designed to meet IP54, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Some chemicals can damage or weaken the plastic, including acetone, ketones, thread-locking compounds, cutting or tapping fluid and strong solvents, so use only plastic-safe cleaners.
