Hammond RIK23Z4 23-Inch Seismic Rack Isolation Kit, 2 Plates

The RIK23Z4 Rack Isolation Kit isolates an open-frame rack from conductive flooring so that the rack does not create multiple ground paths. It is the version matched to the 23 in DRZ4 seismic rack, making it a practical choice for IT, AV, broadcast and industrial installations where a single, controlled bonding and grounding path is required.

Each kit contains two isolation plates and four isolation shoulder washers. The isolation plates are constructed of glass-reinforced thermoset polyester, and the part is listed with a polyester plastic material. The open-ended plate design allows retrofit installation, so existing racks can be isolated without full disassembly, and the universal approach of the RIK series works with most rack manufacturers. Within the Hammond and Rack Basics range, the series is intended for use with RB-2P, RB-2PA, DNRRHDW, DNRRHDKB, DC4R and DRZ4 racks, with this specific version covering the DRZ4 seismic rack in the 23 in size.

Each plate measures 0.06 in (2 mm) thick, 24.00 in (610 mm) wide and 7.50 in (191 mm) deep, and the kit has a shipping weight of 1.4 lbs (0.64 kg). The shoulder washers isolate the mounting hardware at the floor-fixing points, completing the electrical separation between the rack base and the floor.

RIK23Z4 is made in Canada, is USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA compliant, and is classified under ECCN EAR99 with tariff code 7326.90.8688. A bolt-down C4K-Z4 kit is sold separately for floor fixing.
