The RHA40000G is a galvanized steel grill/solid cover kit for the RH40000GY and LG Type 3R rain hoods in the RH Series. It installs in the bottom opening of the rain hood and gives maintenance teams two ways to finish that opening: a vented grill for normal operation or a solid plate to close it off.
The kit contains a vented grill and a solid plate, both in galvanized steel. The grill allows ventilation while preventing unwanted entry of large contaminants. The solid cover allows the opening to be sealed when the fan/filter is not in use; the series notes that the solid cover is offered only with the galvanized steel kits.
