The RH60000N4SS is a Type 4X filterfan rainhood that mounts over a PF 6XX00 Series Filterfan or PFA 60000 exhaust filter to shield the opening from spraying water. It is intended for engineers specifying Type 4X stainless steel protection for filterfans in locations with high exposure to spraying water. When combined with a PF Series Filterfan the assembly is UL / cUL Listed Type 4X and rated IPx6.
The cover is 304 stainless steel with a #4 brushed finish for Type 4X corrosion resistance, and it seals against the enclosure with a high compression, closed cell black gasket featuring multiple seal dams. The base mounting bracket is unpainted 304 stainless steel. Inside the hood, a direct spray barrier and baffle are designed to maximize airflow while protecting the cabinet from overspray.
Overall dimensions are 17.33 in (440 mm) high by 15.51 in (394 mm) wide by 3.56 in (90 mm) deep, with a nominal size of 18 in x 16 in x 4 in (457 mm x 406 mm x 102 mm). Installation is simple: the mounting bracket is installed around the existing fan cutout and the rainhood slides down over the bracket. The tool-less design allows the hood to be removed for maintenance and filter mat replacement. For extra protection, the RHA60000N4G galvanized steel grill/solid cover kit can be installed in the bottom opening of this hood. The part is REACH and RoHS compliant.
