Hammond REFK1904231BK1 24U Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, 31.5 in Deep

The REFK1904231BK1 is a 24U, 19-inch rack cabinet that ships knocked down in a flat pack for easier handling, lower shipping cost and installation in areas where a fully assembled cabinet cannot be moved in. It suits AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial and automation systems, telecom and legacy network gear, and general-purpose equipment mounting.

Construction is 16-gauge steel with C-channel strut framing and 10-gauge combination mounting rails rated for a 1000 lb load. The cabinet is self-squaring and assembles with one bolt per corner, so setup needs minimal tools. Two pairs of infinitely adjustable, EIA-310 compliant combination rails with tapped 10-32 holes let you position equipment freely and mix rack-mount types; mounting hardware is included. Side panels are solid and non-removable, and a removable gland plate at the rear bottom handles cable entry and routing from below. Four adjustable nylon leveling feet are included, with optional caster mounting available.

Overall dimensions are 47.19 in x 21.34 in x 31.5 in (1,199 mm x 542 mm x 800 mm), with 42.19 in (1,072 mm) of usable mounting height, 28.50 in (724 mm) of usable mounting depth, and 28.00 in (711 mm) usable depth when doors are fitted. The drawing shows 19.06 in (484 mm) of usable interior width and the 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting centre dimension. Shipping weight is 154 lbs (69.85 kg).

The finish on REFK1904231BK1 is a textured powder coat in RAL 9005 Black; the same frame is offered in RAL 7035 Light Gray as REFK1904231LG1. Made in Canada and TAA compliant, the cabinet is USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant, with the textured powder coat meeting GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS requirements.
