Hammond REFK1903531BK1 20U Knock-Down Black Rack Cabinet, 31.5 in Deep

The REFK1903531BK1 is a 20U, 19-inch knock-down rack cabinet finished in RAL 9005 black textured powder coat. It ships unassembled in a flat pack, which makes it a practical choice for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial and automation systems, and telecom or legacy network equipment where a fully welded cabinet cannot be carried into the room.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with 10-gauge combination mounting rails rated for a 1000 lb load capacity, supported by C-channel strut construction that adds strength while allowing the rails to be positioned where the equipment needs them. The cabinet is self-squaring and assembles with one bolt per corner, so build-up takes minimal tooling. Side panels are solid and non-removable, and optional solid, louvered or window doors (REFK19035XX frame compatibility) can be added for security or airflow. A removable gland plate at the rear bottom provides cable entry and routing from below.

Overall dimensions are 40.19 in x 21.34 in x 31.50 in (1,021 mm x 542 mm x 800 mm), with the part drawing showing an overall height of 40.33 in (1,024 mm). Usable mounting height is 35.19 in (894 mm) for 20U of equipment, with 28.50 in (724 mm) of usable depth, reducing to 28.00 in (711 mm) when doors are fitted. Usable interior width is 19.06 in (484 mm) with an 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting opening. Shipping weight is 136 lbs (61.69 kg).

REFK1903531BK1 includes two pairs of infinitely adjustable, EIA-310 compliant combination rails tapped 10-32, plus assembly hardware and four adjustable nylon leveling feet; optional caster sets can be mounted instead. The cabinet is TAA-compliant, made in Canada, USMCA compliant, and RoHS and REACH compliant.
