Hammond RDAB2U20 2U 20 in Deep Rail Depth Adapter Bracket Set

The RDAB2U20 is a 2U rail depth adapter bracket set from the RDAB Series, designed for IT, telecom and industrial installers who need to mount deep equipment in a 2-post rack. It converts front-only mounting into a center-supported installation, reducing stress on the rack rails and helping prevent the sagging or damage caused by unsupported weight at the rear of a chassis.

Each set is built from 14-gauge mild steel with a rated 400 lb capacity, finished in black smooth powder coat (GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant). The set provides both mounting rails and formed angle supports, so it accommodates rackmount and non-rackmount equipment alike, and it can be fastened to the front and/or rear rack rails to maximize load capacity and installation flexibility.

This part number covers the 20 in depth option. Mounting dimensions are 3.50 in (89 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide with a 20.00 in (508 mm) depth including a standard rack; each individual bracket measures 3.50 in (89 mm) high, 1.57 in (40 mm) wide and 8.50 in (216 mm) deep. The brackets are tapped 10-32 and include 6X 0.250 x 0.375 obround mounting slots. RDAB2U20 ships as a set of 2 right and 2 left brackets with 10-32 x 0.625 in pan head screws and installation instructions.
