Hammond RDAB2U15 2U 15-Inch Deep 2-Post Rack Depth Adapter Set

The RDAB2U15 is a 2U rack depth adapter bracket set that lets deep equipment be centre-mounted in a 2-post rack instead of hanging off the front rails alone. It is intended for IT and network integrators, telecom technicians, and industrial control builders who need to support deep servers, UPS units, and chassis where no rear rack posts are available.

Each set is supplied in pairs of 2 left and 2 right brackets, formed from 14-gauge mild steel with a black powder coat finish (painted black smooth). The design provides both mounting rails and formed angle supports, so it accommodates rackmount as well as non-rackmount equipment. Brackets can be fastened to the front and/or rear rack rails to maximise load capacity and give flexibility during installation.

This version of the RDAB2U15 gives 15.00 in (381 mm) of mounting depth including a standard rack, with a 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting width and a 3.50 in (89 mm) 2U mounting height. Each individual bracket measures 3.50 in (89 mm) high, 1.57 in (40 mm) wide and 6.00 in (152 mm) deep, with 6X 0.250 x 0.375 obround holes and tapped 10-32 mounting provisions. Series rating is 400 lb capacity, and the adapter is compatible with 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch EIA rack systems.

The RDAB2U15 ships with 4 left/right brackets, 10-32 x 0.625 in screws and installation instructions. It is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America (country of origin CA), USMCA compliant, and RoHS and REACH compliant, with the black powder coat noted as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant for indoor air quality and environmental requirements.
