Hammond RCHV1901731BK1 10U Vented-Side Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, 31.5" Deep

The RCHV1901731BK1 is a 10U rack cabinet with vented sides from the RCH knock-down series, intended for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control and automation, and small IT or network setups where ventilation and flexible configuration matter. It ships knocked down for handling ease and protection, then assembles with a self-squaring design using minimal hardware.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with a textured black powder coat finish (RAL9005 Black), rated to an 800 lb load capacity. The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, supporting government procurement requirements. The part is also REACH and USMCA compliant.

Overall dimensions are 19.50 in (495 mm) high x 21.00 in (533 mm) wide x 31.50 in (800 mm) deep, providing 10U of usable mounting height at 17.50 in (445 mm), 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting width and 30.25 in (768 mm) usable depth. Shipping weight is 74.01 lbs (33.57 kg).

Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole mounting rails are supplied for standard 19-inch equipment, along with a starter pack of 16 clip nuts and 10-32 screws. The open frame cabinet structure accepts optional panels and doors so the enclosure can be configured for the airflow and access a given install needs. PVC non-marking feet and two black plastic lifting handles are included for mobility and surface protection.

Assembly hardware supplied with RCHV1901731BK1 includes eight 1/4-20 x 1/2 hex slot bolts, eight 1/4-20 spring nuts and eight M6 x 1.0 x 12 mm screws. Note that this product is not designed nor intended to be wall mounted; an optional caster kit is available within the series.
