Hammond RCHS1900817LG1 5U Solid-Side Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, 17.5in Deep

The RCHS1900817LG1 is a 5U rack cabinet with solid sides from the Hammond RCH Series, intended for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control panels, lab setups and light IT or network equipment. It accepts standard 19-inch rack-mount gear and ships knocked down, which makes it easier to carry into constrained spaces and assemble on site.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with a textured RAL 7035 light gray powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Overall dimensions are 10.75 in x 21.00 in x 17.50 in (273 mm x 533 mm x 445 mm), and the cabinet is rated for an 800 lb load. Usable mounting space is 8.75 in high (5U), 19.00 in wide and 16.25 in deep. The front opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) and the 19-inch mounting width reference is 18.35 in (466 mm).

Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant punched combo rails are supplied (four rails total) along with a starter pack of 8 clip nuts and 10-32 screws, so equipment can be positioned at the depth your gear requires. Assembly uses a self-squaring design with minimal hardware: 1/4-20 hex slot bolts, spring nuts and M6 screws are included, together with two black plastic lifting handles and PVC non-marking feet.

RCHS1900817LG1 is TAA compliant and made in Canada, and it is REACH, RoHS and USMCA compliant, supporting government and enterprise procurement requirements. Optional doors, additional mounting rail pairs and caster kits are offered within the RCH Series. Note that this product is not designed nor intended to be wall mounted.
