Hammond RCHS1900817BK1 5U Solid-Side Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, Black

The RCHS1900817BK1 is a 5U rack cabinet with solid side panels, built for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control systems, labs and small IT or network setups where 19-inch equipment needs a compact, self-contained frame. It ships knocked down, so it can be carried into constrained spaces and assembled on site.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load capacity, finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat. The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental requirements. The cabinet is assembled from a top panel assembly, bottom panel assembly, two solid knock-down sides and four punched combo rails, plus two black plastic handles and the 1/4-20 and M6 hardware listed in the assembly drawing. PVC non-marking feet and lifting handles support mobility and surface protection.

Overall dimensions are 10.75 in x 21 in x 17.5 in (273 mm x 533 mm x 445 mm), with a usable mounting area of 8.75 in high x 19.00 in wide x 16.25 in deep (222 mm x 483 mm x 413 mm) and a 5U mounting height. The front opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) with 19-inch mounting at 18.35 in (466 mm). Shipping weight is 38.01 lbs (17.24 kg).

Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole rails accept standard rack equipment, and RCHS1900817BK1 includes a starter pack of 8 clip nuts and 10-32 screws. The self-squaring design keeps assembly quick with minimal hardware, and optional doors, additional rail pairs and caster kits are available within the RCH series.
