Hammond RCBS1900724BK1 4U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 24.5 in Deep, Black

The RCBS1900724BK1 is a 4U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment in AV, studio, test and measurement, and lab environments. It is aimed at integrators, technicians and OEM engineers who need a compact, protective bench-top or portable rack rather than a floor-standing cabinet.

Construction is 16-gauge welded steel (mild steel) with a 600 lb load rating, finished in RAL9005 Black textured powder coat. The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental requirements. The cabinet is fully enclosed with top, bottom and side panels to protect installed equipment, and two black plastic handles are built in for carrying between workstations. Four plug bumper feet provide non-marking, stable desktop placement.

Overall dimensions are 9.00 in high x 21.00 in wide x 24.50 in deep (229 x 533 x 622 mm), with 4U (7.00 in / 178 mm) of usable mounting height and 23.88 in (607 mm) of usable mounting depth. The 19-inch mounting centres measure 18.35 in (466 mm) and the front opening is 17.81 in (452 mm) wide. Shipping weight is 33 lbs (14.97 kg).

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with round holes (0.28 in / 7 mm) for 10-32 clip nuts, and they are recessed at both the front and rear to improve equipment clearance. RCBS1900724BK1 ships with a starter pack (CLPKIT1032-10) of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws, so basic installation hardware is on hand.
