Hammond RCBS1900717LG1 4U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 17.5 in Deep, Light Gray

The RCBS1900717LG1 is a 4U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment on a bench, desk or cart. It suits AV and media installations, studio and control room setups, test and measurement benches, and lab or development environments where equipment needs protection in a compact footprint. The finish is RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat.

Construction is 16-gauge welded steel (mild steel) with a load rating of 600 lb for the series. The cabinet is fully enclosed with top, bottom and side panels, and the mounting rails are recessed at the front and rear to improve equipment clearance and usability. Two black plastic handles are integrated for carrying between workstations, and four plug bumpers act as non-marking rubber feet for stable desktop placement.

Overall dimensions are 9.00 in (229 mm) high x 21.00 in (533 mm) wide x 17.50 in (445 mm) deep, with 4U of usable mounting height at 7.00 in (178 mm) and usable mounting depth of 16.88 in (429 mm); the drawing also notes 16.76 in (426 mm) usable depth and a 17.81 in (452 mm) opening across a 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting width. Rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with round holes for clip-nut hardware, so no rail adjustment is required for fixed-depth gear. Each RCBS1900717LG1 ships with a starter pack (CLPKIT1032-10) of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws. The cabinet is TAA-compliant and made in Canada, is USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant, and the powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.
