Hammond RCBS1900513LG1 3U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 13 in Deep, Light Gray

The RCBS1900513LG1 is a 3U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment on a bench, desk or cart. It is aimed at AV and media integrators, studio and control room builders, and test, lab and development teams that need a compact, protected home for a few rack-mount devices rather than a full floor-standing cabinet.

Construction is 16-gauge welded steel with a fully enclosed top, bottom and side design that shields installed equipment. The finish on this version is a RAL7035 Light Gray textured powder coat; the cabinet is also offered in black. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the base material is mild steel. Two black plastic handles are fitted for carrying between workstations, and four plug bumper feet provide non-marking desktop placement.

Overall size is 7.25 in (184 mm) high by 21.00 in (533 mm) wide by 13.00 in (330 mm) deep, giving 3U of usable mounting height (5.25 in / 133 mm) and 12.38 in (314 mm) of usable mounting depth, with 12.26 in (311 mm) shown as usable depth on the drawing. Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with 0.28 in (7 mm) round holes that use clip-nut hardware; the cabinet ships with a starter pack of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws (CLPKIT1032-10). Rails are recessed at the front and rear to improve equipment clearance. The 19-inch mounting width is 18.35 in (466 mm) with a 17.81 in (452 mm) opening.
