The R149-025-500 is the top mount version of the Tara Plus Coupling (TPSSC Series). This command fitting attaches to the enclosure itself and accepts 48mm round tube running perpendicular to the enclosure top, so an operator enclosure can hang from or sit on a 48mm Tara Plus suspension arm.
The coupling rotates 300°, letting the operator turn the enclosure toward the working position, and its torque resistance is adjustable so the effort needed to turn it can be set to suit the installation. It is die-cast aluminum G Al Si 12.
The mounting position is Top; a bottom mount version is offered as R149-025-501 for tubes that enter from below. Both share the same 3.07 in x 3.07 in x 4.14 in (78 mm x 78 mm x 105 mm) size. The part drawing shows Ø78 mm and 105 mm callouts, a Ø48 mm diameter, a Ø39 mm diameter and an M6 thread callout.
