Hammond R102-102-000 100x150x54mm Matching-Lid Diecast Aluminum Enclosure

The R102-102-000 is a thick-wall, water-tight die-cast aluminum enclosure from the R100 aluNORM family, built in the Matching Lid & Body (R102 Series) format with a lid and body of matching depth. It suits OEM engineers, panel builders and electricians who need a sealed housing for industrial control equipment, electronics and circuit boards where a water-tight IP66 seal is required.

The body and lid are cast from G AI SI 12 / DIN 1775 aluminum alloy and finished in a beige textured polyester powder coat. A neoprene gasket resistant to oil and petrol seals the lid, and the captive stainless steel lid screws sit outside the gasket seal together with the mounting holes.

This size measures 100 mm wide by 150 mm long with a 54 mm depth including the lid (3.94 in x 5.91 in x 2.13 in (100 mm x 150 mm x 54 mm)). It accepts a printed circuit board up to 136.9 mm long by 87 mm wide on the internal mounting shelves, and the shipping weight is 1.35 lbs (0.61 kg).

Hammond's patented single-channel fastening system uses the same threaded enclosure hole for mounting the enclosure and fastening the lid, which leaves more interior space than dual-channel designs. Internal mounting shelves along both sides include blind holes and grounding screws. Matching accessories for this size are a 2 mm galvanized steel inner panel (R507-102-000), zinc diecast external mounting feet (R501-002-100) that can be turned through 90 degrees and a hinge set of 2 (R510-000-000).

The enclosure is rated IP66 and NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 & 13, is CSA certified and UL Listed Type 4 for use with industrial control equipment, operates from -40ºC up to +80ºC (-40ºF to 176ºF), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
