Hammond R100-066-035 65x150x40 mm Type 4X Diecast Enclosure, Light Gray

The R100-066-035 is the longest of the 65 mm wide sizes in Hammond's R100 Series of Type 4X diecast aluminum enclosures (aluNORM - Watertight, Thick Wall), finished in RAL 7035 light gray. It is built for panel builders, OEM engineers and electricians who need a rugged, sealed housing for a long, narrow P.C. board up to 142.5 mm x 57.7 mm.

The R100-066-035 measures 2.56 in x 5.91 in x 1.57 in (65 mm x 150 mm x 40 mm), matching the ordering table's 65 mm width, 150 mm length and 40 mm depth with lid. It accepts a maximum P.C. board of 142.5 mm x 57.7 mm. Shipping weight is 1 lbs (0.45 kg).

The body is die-cast aluminum to G AI SI 12 / DIN 1775 in a thick-wall, shallow lid and deep body design, coated in textured polyester powder. A standard neoprene gasket resists oil and petrol, and the enclosure is rated IP66, CSA certified and UL Listed Type 4 for use with industrial control equipment, with an operating temperature range of -40ºC to +80ºC (-40ºF to 176ºF). Its part page lists NEMA ratings 1, 4, 4X, 12 and 13.

Hammond's patented single-channel system uses the same threaded enclosure hole both to mount the enclosure and to fasten the lid, keeping lid screws and mounting holes outside the gasket seal and giving more interior space than dual-channel designs. The lid screws are captive stainless steel, and internal mounting shelves along both sides carry blind holes and grounding screws. The matching inner panel is R507-066-000 (2 mm galvanized steel); external feet and hinges are not listed for the -066 size.

The same size is also offered in RAL 7032 beige as R100-066-000. The R100-066-035 is RoHS and REACH compliant.
