Hammond PWS7152A230N4LG 5100 BTU/H 230V Air-to-Water Heat Exchanger

PWS7152A230N4LG is the 230 V version of the PWS 7152 air/water heat exchanger, listed as a 5100 BTU/H, NEMA 3R/4 unit in light gray. Engineers use this type of unit to cool enclosures with water rather than ambient air, which matters where the surroundings are hot, harsh or regularly washed down.

For correct operation the cooling liquid must be at least 10 °C colder than the heat exchanger inlet air. Water connections should use flexible pressure-resistant (>10 bar) hose secured with clamps, and the maximum permissible operating pressure is 10 bar. When stored or transported below freezing the water circuit must be emptied with compressed air, and the unit should not be exposed to temperatures above +70 °C.

The PWS7152A230N4LG is installed with the supplied PWS 7332/7152 drilling template; its drawing gives an overall height of 950 mm (37.40 in) and width of 400 mm (15.75 in). The series case is galvanized steel in RAL7035 light gray, and series standards are UL, cUL and CE. Included items are the cooling unit, mounting cutout, manual and technical data sheet.
