Hammond PTF1200T3RSS 115V Type 3R Stainless Top Mount Filter Fan

The PTF1200T3RSS is the outdoor, Type 3R model of the PTF 1200 Top Mount Filterfan for 115V AC power. Built from 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish, it is intended for integrators and electrical contractors cooling densely packed enclosures that face rain, sleet and damage from external ice formation.

The fan delivers 589 CFM unimpeded, or 512 CFM when combined with the two inlet filter grills the series requires (the ordering table lists PFA60000LG, and the accessory list also includes a PFA60000T3RLG 3R inlet filter). It is a 170 W EC centrifugal unit on 50/60 Hz with ball bearings, 71 Pa maximum static pressure, a 2.20 A starting current, 6 A Class CC maximum fuse and an approximately 70,000 h L10 service life at +40 °C. A G4 NEMA 12 filtermat provides 81% filtration efficiency.

The top pagoda cover on this 3R version is unpainted stainless steel and can be removed and painted to match the enclosure. Overall size is 11.81 x 11.81 x 6.1 in (300 x 300 x 155 mm); the unit screw-mounts on the enclosure roof over a 229 x 229 mm cut-out and sits flush with 0 mm installed depth, so it does not intrude into the cabinet. Filters are serviced by removing the top plate.

The PTF1200T3RSS is rated IP 54 / NEMA Type 3R, certified to UL 508A (UL File #E489500) with a cUL approved motor, and carries cULus and CE approvals. At 115V it operates from -25 to +50 °C (-13 to +122 °F). It connects through an X-COM plug and ships at 16 lbs (7.26 kg).
