The PMV4248GY is the longest vertical channel in the PMK Series pole mounting kit: a single (Qty 1) gray steel channel for enclosures 42" to 48" tall on the 1418N4/HWHK and Eclipse (EN4SD) series. It is aimed at contractors and facilities teams mounting large outdoor-rated enclosures on poles.
The vertical channel is the pole-side component of the 2 or 3-part PMK system. It can be lagged directly to the pole or attached using optional stainless steel straps, it prevents the enclosure from twisting, and it can be used on pole diameters from 4" and up. A pair of PMK horizontal channels, which come with all hardware needed to secure the enclosure, completes the assembly.
The part drawing shows an overall length of 53.75 in with a 4.00 in x 1.50 in channel profile. PMV4248GY is not listed for the 1414N4 or Eclipse Junior (EJ) series. Eclipse Series enclosures require an external Eclipse Mounting Foot Kit, sold separately.
Finished in Steel/Gray, the channel ships in a bag at 11.8 lbs (5.35 kg). PMV4248GY is REACH and RoHS compliant.
Complete the assembly with a PMK horizontal channel pair matched to the enclosure width and, where lagging is not wanted, a four-pack of PMSTRAP40 or PMSTRAP55 stainless steel straps.
