Hammond PMSTRAP40 316 Stainless Pole Straps, 39" Length, 450 lb Rated

The PMSTRAP40 is a set of four (Qty 4) 316 stainless steel straps for the PMK Series pole mounting kit. The straps are the optional third component of the PMK system, used to attach a vertical channel to a pole instead of lagging it directly. They are aimed at installers mounting outdoor-rated enclosures on poles where lag bolting is not wanted or not possible.

Each strap measures 0.50" x 39" in length and is made from 316 stainless steel. PMSTRAP40 straps are rated for 450 lbs each and can be used for pole diameters up to 11". For larger poles, the PMK Series also offers the PMSTRAP55, which reaches pole diameters up to 16" at a lower 250 lbs per strap.

In a complete PMK mount the vertical channel prevents the enclosure from twisting and can be used on pole diameters from 4" and up, the horizontal channel pair carries the enclosure, and straps such as PMSTRAP40 hold the vertical channel to the pole. The straps are sold separately in quantities of four.

The four straps ship in a bag at 1 lbs (0.45 kg) and are REACH and RoHS compliant. Note that the manufacturer short description reads "SS STRAP 0.05 WIDTH 36L", while the part page and ordering table give the size as 0.50" x 39".
