The PJW363010L is a Type 4X polyester wallmount enclosure measuring 36.25 x 30.25 x 10.13 in (921 x 768 x 257 mm). At just over 10 in deep it is the shallow 36 x 30 in option, intended for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures that face hose-down, heavy moisture, heat or corrosive chemicals.
Box and cover are gel-coat, fiberglass and polyester resin with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering. The drawing shows a 0.15 in (3.91 mm) wall, a continuous stainless steel hinge, and three stainless steel draw latches with keeper plates and padlock provision; the series describes stainless steel butterfly twist-latch door fasteners. An EPDM gasket seals the cover.
For equipment mounting, 3/8 collar studs are provided with hardware included: a standard PVC spacer, stainless steel 3/8-16x2 threaded rod, 3/8 internal teeth locking washer, flat washer and 3/8-16 hex head nut at each of six locations. The drawing also shows an optional painted carbon steel back panel 0.105 in (2.67 mm) thick. The enclosure installs using its integrated mounting flange and is easily punched, cut or drilled.
The series is UL/cUL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 listed, cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It operates from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F) with an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb). The PJW363010L ships at 56 lbs (25.40 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
