PJU16148WF is the flange-mount version of the 16 x 14 x 8 in PJU window enclosure. It combines a lift-off screw cover and polycarbonate viewing window with two glued polycarbonate mounting flanges, giving panel builders and electricians a Type 4X box for instrument, junction or terminal wiring duty where readings or indicators must stay visible.
The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a light gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors. Per the drawing, the clear cover and windows are polycarbonate. The polyester is easily punched, cut or drilled, and a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket provides a positive seal against washdown and wet conditions.

Four stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings thread into #10-32 brass inserts to hold the lift-off cover, while separate brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws carry the optional inner panel. The flanges attach to rear brass inserts with stainless steel screws.
The PJU16148WF carries UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. Operating range is -40°C to 130°C.
