Hammond PJU12106CC 12x10x6 In Clear Screw Cover Type 4X Box, Feet

The PJU12106CC is a 12 x 10 x 6 in nominal Type 4X polyester junction box from the PJU Series with a clear polycarbonate lift-off cover held by captive stainless steel screws. Typical uses listed for the series are instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, particularly where equipment is hosed down, very wet, hot or exposed to corrosive environments.

The box is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in a gray finish and the clear cover is polycarbonate. The fiberglass polyester is easily punched, cut or drilled, carries enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering, and rates an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb). It seals with a captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket; the cover is fastened by captive screws threaded into four #10-32 brass inserts, which carry retaining O-rings.

Enclosure dimensions are 12.05 in H x 10.27 in W x 6.13 in D (306 mm x 261 mm x 156 mm). With its four polycarbonate mounting feet fitted, the drawing shows an overall height of 13.42 in. Threaded brass inserts accept the optional 14R1109 inner panel, which measures 10.75 in x 8.88 in and is offered in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass.

The PJU12106CC mounts through (4) 0.31 in (7.95 mm) holes on its polycarbonate feet, spaced 12.70 in x 7.21 in per the drawing. Mounting hardware is included. The series is listed to UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It operates from -40°C to 130°C (-40°F to 266°F) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
