The PJHMI66CX is the smallest of the three PJHMICX Series polycarbonate inspection window kits. It adds a clear viewing window to an enclosure wall so that equipment and components inside can be seen without opening the door, which suits meters, indicators and status lights that need checking during normal operation.
The window is clear polycarbonate thermoplastic, injection moulded per the drawing, and seals to the enclosure with a Formed-In-Place (FIP) polyurethane gasket in a continuous channel. It is UV stabilized for outdoor use and rated for service from -31°F (-35°C) to 266°F (130°C).
Overall dimensions are 6.50 in (165 mm) by 6.50 in (165 mm) with a depth of 0.60 in (15 mm), giving a square 5.64 x 5.64 in (143 mm) viewing area. The part record lists a nominal size of 8 x 8 x 1 in and a shipping weight of 0.4 lbs (0.18 kg).
The PJHMI66CX mounts through four #10-32 brass inserts and is supplied with #10-32 x 1/2" 316 stainless steel mounting screws. The series is designed for enclosure walls from 16 gauge through 1/4".
It is a recognized UL component for use with enclosures rated Types 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 or 13 and CSA listed for the same types, so the window can go into both indoor and outdoor rated enclosures. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
