The PJFS722525 is the single-door model in the PJFS Type 4X polyester freestanding enclosure series, measuring 72.00 x 25.00 x 24.50 in (1829 x 635 x 622 mm). It is designed for use as an instrument enclosure, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housing, electrical junction box or terminal wiring enclosure where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet, or where high temperatures or highly corrosive conditions are present.
The box and door are gel-coat, fiberglass and polyester resin, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors, and can be punched, cut or drilled. The door hangs on a heavy duty continuous 304 stainless steel hinge and closes with a stainless steel 3-point latch handle with padlock provision. A flexible self-gripping EPDM gasket compresses over the flange, and the enclosure has a molded-in drip shield. The drawing shows a 0.21 in (5.43 mm) wall, a door opening of 62.93 x 20.68 in (1598.48 x 525.33 mm), 2 x 2 in FRP angle and two stainless steel eye bolts.
Collar studs are provided for the optional 18P5721 inner panel, 57.00 x 21.00 in (1448 x 533 mm); the drawing shows it as a painted carbon steel back panel 0.105 in (2.66 mm) thick, and the series offers inner panels in white powder coated finished steel. Mounting hardware is included.
