Hammond PJEC363012T 36x30x12 Twist Latch Wallmount Fiberglass Enclosure

The PJEC363012T is a large Type 4X wallmount enclosure from the PJW Series, built from compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester. With a solid hinged door and twist latches, it is intended for control housings, instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring in wet, hosed-down, high-temperature or highly corrosive locations.

The door hangs on a stainless steel hinge and closes with three stainless steel lockable twist latches; the series describes these as butterfly type twist latch fasteners with padlock provision. A closed cell neoprene gasket, described in the series as captive and oil resistant, provides a positive seal. The gray polyester includes enhanced UV inhibitors and is easily punched, cut, or drilled.

Inside, 3/8 collar studs are provided for the optional 18P3327 inner panel (33.00 x 27.00 in), with hardware included; the drawing notes six 3/8-16 plated carbon screws with molded-in brass inserts and a .105 in white steel back panel option.

An integrated mounting flange handles wall installation. Series ratings are UL/cUL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94 and IEC 60529 IP66, with operation from 130°C to -40°C. A 3-point handle version is PJEC3630123PT, and PJEC363012T is RoHS and REACH compliant.
