The PJ302410RL is the largest solid-cover model in the PJ raised-lid family with snap latches: a 30 x 24 x 10.13 in (762 x 610 x 257 mm) Type 4X wallmount enclosure molded from fiberglass reinforced polyester. It is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures where equipment may be hosed down, is very wet, or sits in high-temperature or highly corrosive environments.
Both box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in a gray finish, with enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering. The material is easily punched, cut or drilled for conduit and device openings. The drawing shows a wall thickness of 0.14 in (3.56 mm), a formed-in-place polyurethane gasket, two 316 stainless steel hinges and four 316 stainless steel lockable snap latches, which are draw-type fasteners with provision for padlocking.
Inside, threaded brass inserts accept the optional 18P2721 inner panel (27.00 x 21.00 in listed) or a terminal kit; back panels are drawn in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.105 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.250 in fiberglass. For wall mounting, four 316 stainless steel feet fasten to 3/8"-16 brass inserts on the rear, and this size uses the larger mounting foot. Mounting hardware is included.
The PJ302410RL carries UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL listings per CSA 22.2 No. 94, complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
