Hammond PJ242410RLW 24x24x10 In Type 4X Window Cover Fiberglass Enclosure

The PJ242410RLW is the window-cover version of the 24 x 24 x 10 PJ enclosure. Measuring 24.00 x 24.00 x 10.13 in (610 x 610 x 257 mm), it combines a deep, square fiberglass body with a raised cover and bonded polycarbonate viewing window, so large control and instrument assemblies can be checked at a glance.

The PJ series is designed for instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings in places where equipment may be hosed down, is very wet, runs hot or sees highly corrosive conditions. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors, and are easily punched, cut or drilled.

Optional back panels are drawn in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and 0.125 in fiberglass. The enclosure is rated 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F) with a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index.

The PJ242410RLW is listed to UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships at 28 lbs (12.70 kg).
