The PJ16148RW is a Type 4X fiberglass polyester enclosure at 16.27 in H x 14.40 in W x 8.13 in D (413 x 366 x 207 mm), with a raised window cover listed in the ordering table as a lift-off style. The bonded polycarbonate window keeps equipment in sight, suiting instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures.
Both box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors. The material is easily punched, cut or drilled, has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and is rated from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F).
Four stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings secure the cover into #10-32 brass inserts, and a closed cell neoprene gasket provides the seal for hose-down, very wet and corrosive applications.

Four stainless steel mounting feet fasten to rear brass inserts with stainless screws, and the optional 14R1513 inner panel (14.75 x 12.88 in / 375 x 327 mm) installs inside. The PJ16148RW ships at 14 lbs (6.35 kg).
