The PJ12124W is a lift-off cover window enclosure in the PJ Series, sized 12 x 12 with a shallow 4 in class depth. Because the cover has no hinge and comes completely off, it works well as a junction box or terminal wiring enclosure that is serviced occasionally but checked through the polycarbonate window.
The cover attaches with four 316 stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-ring, threading into #10-32 brass inserts, and seals on a FIP polyurethane gasket. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors. The drawing shows a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall.
The ordering table gives 12.13 in H x 12.13 in W x 4.13 in D (308 x 308 x 105 mm); the part page lists 12.32 x 12.32 x 4 in (313 x 313 x 102 mm). Shipping weight is 7 lbs (3.18 kg). The optional 14R1111 inner panel measures 10.75 x 10.88 in, with back panels drawn in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and 0.125 in fiberglass.
Four 316 stainless steel feet mount at the rear. The series is listed to UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and operates from 130°C to -40°C. PJ12124W is RoHS and REACH compliant.
