Hammond PHPF19012BK2 7U Hinged Locking Rack Door, Black Steel

The PHPF19012BK2 is a 7U hinged rack mount door that fully conceals and secures a section of rack-mounted equipment. It is intended for IT, AV and telecom installers who need to restrict access to patch panels, switches, servers or cable terminations in data centers, telecom rooms and shared or public rack environments, including open frame rack deployments.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel, folded on all sides for increased rigidity and durability, with a solid door face that blocks visibility into the protected equipment. The panel is finished in semi-gloss painted black; the powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. A matching RAL 7035 light gray version is offered as PHPF19012LG2.

This 7U size provides mounting dimensions of 12.25 in (311 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and an opening of 12.22 in (310 mm) high by 16.20 in (411 mm) wide. The door installs directly to standard 19 in EIA-compliant mounting rails for universal compatibility; mounting hardware is not included. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg).

The hinged design allows full access to installed equipment when the door is open, so components do not have to be removed for service. An integrated lock with two keys is included for access control, making PHPF19012BK2 a practical way to create a lockable rack section without moving to a full enclosure, while giving the rack a clean, uniform front appearance.
